Mariano Rivera Autograph Signings NY Yankees

The New York Yankees signed Mariano Rivera as a free agent all the way back in 1990 (Think about how old you were and what grade you were in). 24 years later, Rivera was still wearing Yankees pinstripes when he decided to hang up his cleats! Talk about loyalty! Rivera made his MLB debut in 1995. In 1996 he emerged as a dominant force as a middle-relief pitcher and finished third place for the AL Cy Young Award. Rivera went on to play in 13 MLB All-Star Games and is a 5x World Series Champion. He was the 1999 World Series MVP, 2003 ALCS MVP and 2013 All-Star Game MVP. He led the majors in saves on three separate occasions and is a 5x recipient of the Rolaids Relief Man of the Year Award. His 2.209 career ERA is by far the lowest among living players and he holds the MLB record for most games finished (952), regular season Saves (652) and post-season saves (42). The Sandman's HOF induction ceremony in 2019 will be quite a party!
