Julius Erving Signing Autographs Philadelphia 79ers February 2015

On Saturday, February 14, 2015, Steiner Sports will host a public autograph signing for Virginia Squires/ New York Nets/ Philadelphia 76ers Class of 1993 Basketball HOF forward, Julius Erving. The signing is part of the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend and will take place at the Steiner Sports Pop-Up Store in New York City.

Julius Erving played two seasons of college basketball with the UMASS Minutemen. He in 1972, he signed on with Virginia Squires of the American Basketball Association (ABA). During his five years in the ABA (Virginia Squires and New York Nets), "Dr J"was a 5x ABA All-Star, 3x ABA Scoring Champion, 3x ABA MVP and 2x ABA Champion. He joined the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers in 1976 and played in 11 consecutive NBA All-Star games. In 1981, he was named NBA Most Valuable player. Just two years later, he led the Sixers to the 1983 NBA Championship. When he retired in 1987, his 30,026 points scored trailed only Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He is currently #6 on the All-Time Scoring list.
