Carlton Williamson Autograph Signing San Francisco 49ers March 2014

On Saturday March 15th, GT Sports Marketing will host a public autograph signing for San Francisco 49ers 2x NFL Pro Bowl safety, Carlton Williamson. The signing is part of the 2014 GT Sports Marketing 7th Annual Bay Area Autograph Experience & Card Show in Santa Clara, California.

The San Francisco 49ers drafted Carlton Williamson out of the University of Pittsburgh during the 3rd round of the 1981 NFL Draft. In 1981, he won the starting safety role and became one of three 49ers rookie defensive backs (Eric Wright and Ronnie Lott). Despite their inexperience, Williamson, Wright and Lott became three of the NFL's best defensive backs and led them all the way to a victory in Super Bowl XVI. Williamson played seven seasons with the 49ers (six as a starter) and retired after the 1987 season. He played in two Pro Bowls, won two Super Bowls (XVI and XIX) and won five NFC West Division Championships.
