When it comes to Game Used Babe Ruth Baseball Bats, it doesn't get any better than this. This particular bat was used by Ruth during his historic 1927 season in which he hit 60 homeruns, knocked in 164 RBI and led the New York Yankees to 110-44 record along with a World Series Championship. The model was designed by Lou Gehrig and weighs 40 ounces.
Every time he hit a homerun, Ruth put a notch around the Louisville Slugger logo. This bat has 21 notches in it, meaning he hit 21 homeruns before the handle cracked. It is on display inside the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It's quite possibly the greatest baseball artifact I've ever seen.
