LeBron James is named 2012-2013 NBA MVP

For the fourth in his career, Miami Heat forward, LeBron James has won the NBA Most Valuable Player award. He took 120 out of a possible 121 First Place votes, finishing just one vote shy of becoming the only player in NBA history to be voted in the unanimously.

He joins the ranks of Bill Russell (5), Michael Jordan (5), Wilt Chamberlain (4) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6) as the only players in NBA history to win four MVP awards. Lebron is the only player to win four awards in a five year span.

Congratulations LeBron on a terrific season!
