Drew Brees' Touchdown Streak Over at 54

For the first time in over three years, Drew Brees failed to throw a touchdown pass. He also threw a career-worst, 5 INTs as the Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints last night, 23 - 13. His record for most consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass started on October 18, 2009. The first touchdown pass of the streak was a 1 yard TD to tight end Jeremy Shockey. The last one was a 2 yard pass to fullback, Jed Collins against the 49ers on November 25, 2012.

The Falcons improved to 11 - 1 and will clinch the NFC South with another win or a Bucs loss. The Saints dropped to 5 - 7 and are 2 1/2 games out of the final Wild Card spot.
