I can't count the number of times I watched Joe Montana lead the 49ers down the field for a touchdown during the final seconds of Super Bowl XXIII. Or watched Franco Harris' Immaculate Reception against the Oakland Raiders during the 1972 playoffs. Or the New York NY Giants winning Super Bowl XXV by just one point.
He turned football's best games into historic moments. He took the game's best players and turned them into legends. He was a master story teller and film producer. There will never be anyone like him.
