Albert Pujols just hit three home runs in Game 3 of the 2011 MLB World Series as the St. Louis Cardinals took a 2 - 1 series lead over the Texas Rangers. He joined Babe Ruth (1926 & 1928) and Reggie Jackson (1977) as the only players in MLB history to hit three home runs in a single World Series game. Pujols is the first non-New York Yankee to accomplish the feat.
If the Cardinals go on to win the Series, did Pujols just clinch MVP honors? If so, were does his three - home run performance belong in St. Louis Cardinals history? World Series history?
