Maury Wills Autograph Signings LA Dodgers

Maury Wills was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1951. By the time he made his MLB debut in 1959, the Dodgers had already packed up and moved to Los Angeles. It was a long time coming for Wills, but once he hit the MLB scene, he became a superstar. From 1959 through 1966, Wills was one of the fastest players in the game. During that time span, Wills led the National League in stolen bases seven times, led the majors in stolen bases three times, played in seven MLB All-Star Games and captured three World Series titles (1959, 1963 and 1965). In 1962, Wills set a live-ball era record with 104 stolen bases in one season. He was the MVP of the 1962 MLB All-Star Game (1st Game) and went on to win the National League Most Valuable Player Award. He spent two and a half years with the Pirates and Expos before returning to LA near the beginning of the 1969 season. He played four more seasons with the Dodgers until he retired in 1972. Bill Madlock Autograph Signing Chicago Cubs Pittsburgh Pirates LA Dodgers June 2014

On Friday, June 27, 2014, Fanatics Authentic will host a public autograph signing for Chicago Cubs/ Pittsburgh Pirates/ LA Dodgers 4x National League batting champion, Bill Madlock. The signing is part of the June 2014 Fanatics Authentic Sports Spectacular and will be held inside the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.

Bill Madlock was drafted by the Washington Senators during the Fifth Round of the 1970 Amateur Baseball Draft. He made his MLB Debut in 1973, but was traded to the Chicago Cubs at the end of the season. During his three seasons in Chicago, Madlock played in the 1974 MLB All-Star Game, won the 1974 National League Batting Title and the 1975 MLB Batting Title. He spent two and a half seasons with the San Francisco Giants before a mid-season trade in 1979 sent him to the Pittsburgh Pirates. On Sunday October 13th, Collectors Showcase of America will host a public autograph signing for San Francisco 49ers/ New York Giants Class of 1971 Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback, Y.A. Tittle. The signing is part of the October 2013 Show at Chantilly which will be held at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia.

Yelberton Abraham Tittle (Y.A. Tittle) spent his first three seasons of professional football with Baltimore Colts of the All-American Football Conference. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in 1951 and was the full-time starter by 1953. While he was with the Niners, Tittle was a 4x NFL Pro Bowler and led the NFL in touchdown passes in 1955. He was the 1957 UPI NFL MVP. Believing that Tittle's best years were behind him, the 49ers traded Y.A. to the New York Giants. Tittle would go on to play in three more Pro Bowls and became the first quarterback in NFL history to post back-to-back 30 touchdown seasons in 1962 and 1963. At the time of his retirement in 1964, …
