Sports Memorabilia Dealer arrested at National Sports Collectors Convention
Amy Forliti of the Associated Press reports that the head of a Minnesota based sports memorabilia company was arrested at the 2011 National Sports Collectors Convention for selling fraudulent memorabilia, including fake MLB jerseys that he claimed were game used by Mark McGwire, Alex Rodriquez and Albert Pujols. Authorities claim that Steve Jensen, and his company, Vintage Sports Authentics knowingly auctioned off jerseys between July, 2007 and July, 2011, that were suppose to be "Game Used," but in fact, were not.
